Who are we?

Welcome!

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

Cub Scouts is a year-round program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young kids ages 5-10 and their families. The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Children can begin as Lion Cubs as they enter Kindergarten, and then move into the Tiger, Wolf and Bear Cub Scout programs (first, second and third grade, or ages 6-9), and Webelos Scouts (fourth and fifth grade, or age 10). They then transition into Scouts BSA (youth ages 11-17).3Characters

In the Chief Seattle Council, Cub Scouts and their families may look forward to Cub Scout Camping opportunities and many other community-centered District Activities. These service projects, games and camping activities guide boys through the core values and give them a sense of personal achievement. Parents, leaders and friends play an active role in the program as they encourage boys to live the Cub Scout Motto “Do Your Best.”
